Who we are
Vortex Estimating is a US-based construction estimating firm headquartered in Boulder, Colorado. We work with general contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers, and design-build teams across all 50 states - from small custom home builders to national commercial GCs bidding nine-figure projects.
What we believe
Construction estimating is engineering work, not data entry. Every line item in our deliverables ties back to a specific plan reference, a documented productivity assumption, and a current cost source. We do not pad numbers. We do not guess at scope.

Accuracy standards
We classify every deliverable against the AACE International Recommended Practice 18R-97 estimate class system. Our internal target is ±2% on material quantity takeoffs and ±5-10% on bid-grade cost estimates against final pay applications when complete plans are provided.
