Rebar takeoff counts each bar by size (#3 through #18), length, and bend type per the structural schedule. Weight per linear foot is published in ACI 318 — #3 is 0.376 lb/ft, #4 is 0.668 lb/ft, etc. We sum to total weight in tons for material pricing and fabrication labor.
