The Dedicated Construction Estimator service is for contractors with consistent bid volume who need senior estimating capacity but aren’t ready to commit to a W-2 hire. We assign a single senior estimator to your account on a monthly retainer — they get to know your bid culture, your subs, your typical scope gaps, and your pricing database.
Typical engagement is 80-160 hours per month. The estimator works inside your estimating software (Sage, Accubid, ConEst, Buildxact) under your project codes. They join your bid review meetings, respond to your sub clarification calls, and own follow-through on change orders during construction.
This is fundamentally different from project-by-project takeoff. The retainer model gives you a permanent member of your estimating department without the fixed overhead.

Every dedicated construction estimator engagement starts with a free scope review — typically within 4 business hours of receiving your documents. We confirm the deliverable scope, turnaround, and fee before any work starts. Estimates and takeoffs are produced by US-based senior estimators with a minimum of seven years on the discipline in question, then reviewed by a second estimator before delivery.
Deliverables ship in your preferred format — PDF, Excel, your estimating software’s native file, or a custom client template. Bid-day clarifications during your bid submission window are handled in under an hour.
